- A GEM program with a scrolling list of all the general midi instruments
- would be nice. After one would have mapped the 'program' (sound) IDs for
- his/her (an e-mail friend of mine said that he's wife hates computers
- games in general but likes Doom deathmatches... <g>) synth, he could
- save the mapping file and the Doom midi player would load it at start
- of the game.

- It just needs a lot of pitchbend I think <g>. Btw. Have you heard about
- the trick of playing all the horn sections with a midi guitar? A friend's
- friend used such and it was supposed to sound quite believable (I haven't
- heard it myself though).
